Avec @RailFinancial, Ripple vient de signer sa 4ᵉ grosse acquisition en 2 ans et derrière, il y a clairement une stratégie. Mai 2023 : Metaco - custody en Europe (250 M$) Fév. 2024 : Standard Custody - custody aux US (prix non divulgué) Avr. 2025 : Hidden Road - liquidité & marchés (1,25 Md$) Août 2025 : Rail - infrastructure de paiements stablecoin (200 M$) Le but du rachat de ces sociétés est de créer un écosystème complet au service de son stablecoin RLUSD : conservation, liquidité, rails de paiement. Le RLUSD qui a été lancé en juin circule sur XRP Ledger ET Ethereum, avec une approche très B2B et institutionnelle. La stratégie de @bgarlinghouse est donc cohérente. La seule question est celle de la place du token XRP. Sur le papier, plus de flux sur le réseau de Ripple devrait soutenir la demande de XRP, mais rien ne garantit que cette valeur se traduira directement pour les tokens holders. Surtout si les volumes se font sur... Ethereum. Je ne serais pas étonné si le RLUSD devient l’actif central des flux de la galaxie Ripple, et que le XRP reste cantonné à un rôle technique ou secondaire. Dans ce cas, l’impact direct sur son prix pourrait être limité, voire marginal.
